Climate Change
( Adaptation and Mitigation)

FORDESH AFRICA work with Communities in the Niger Delta Region of Nigeria to identify how Climate change is impacting them and their Communities and to develop ideas for solutions to increase resilience and equipping them with knowledge, insights and tools to allow them to mobilize their Communities to increase resilience to Climate change.

Ecosystems & Nature-based Solutions

FORDESH AFRICA development programs, be they in wetlands, drylands, forests, marine or mountain ecosystems, or agricultural landscapes, consider environmental sustainability as a key, non-negotiable principle.

Climate Smart Agriculture.

We work with small holder farmers in the rural communities in the different elements of climate-smart agricultural systems which include: Management of farms, crops, livestock, aquaculture and capture fisheries to balance nearterm food security and livelihoods needs with priorities for adaptation and mitigation.

Green Technology.

We promote the invention and use of Green technology by sensitizing and encouraging Inventors to know that green inventions and clean technologies are good business. Consumers to know that buying green inventions can reduce energy bills and that green inventions are often safer and healthier products.

Clean Cooking Technology

FORDESH seeks a consultative approach to its engagement in the clean cooking sector guided by the following key principles: Catalyze sector development through promotion of enterprise-based approaches. Promote different strategies to make clean fuels and technologies accessible and affordable.

Biodiversity Conservation & Management

FORDESH approach focuses on the five principal causes of pressure on biodiversity: climate change, habitat loss and degradation, excessive nutrient loading and other forms of pollution, overexploitation and unsustainable use, and invasive alien species.

Onuoha Ethelbert

Executive Director

Onuoha Ethelbert is a development professional with cross-disciplinary experience in the Nonprofit sector management in Africa, particularly in Nigeria and Ghana, He hold a BSc, and an MSc in Agricultural Economics, with an in-depth knowledge in Monitoring and Evaluation, Climate Change mitigation and adaptation, Agricultural development, project planning, development and management, Community Mobilization and Sensitization as well Capacity building.

Alvin Latos

Director

Alvin has acquired a broad spectrum of knowledge over a lifetime of diverse and challenging projects and initiatives. Contracts and product marketing, design- build projects, manufacturing, processing and value add projects as well as direct operations management and consulting are a few of the background skills Alvin Latos has worked towards. The establishment of Africa Adanak LTD. and the opportunities within this region are very appealing and noteworthy based on the huge amount of available resources and the need for products and services.

Patience Nneoma

Director, Administration

Ms. Patience Nneoma Onukagha is the director, Administration and Finance for FORDESH AFRICA. She holds a Higher National Diploma in Secretarial Administration. She was the Administrative Secretary for Integrated Digital Technology, an International communication company in Port Harcourt Nigeria. Mrs. Onukagha is also an Early Child development practitioner. She holds an advanced Diploma Certificate in Montessori Teaching Methodology from the Montessori Training Institute UK.

Dr. (Mrs.) Queen Obi

(Director, Programs)

Dr. (Mrs.) Queen Obi leads the Organization in facilitating program designs, planning, Monitoring and Evaluation of FORDESH Community development and Gender projects. She is recognized nationally and internationally as an expert, building the capacity of Women on gender equality and Women empowerment. She is also the Medical Director Envision Eye Clinic, Port Harcourt Nigeria.

Favour Onuoha

Snr. IT Consultant

Favour Onuoha is the Senior Program Manager for FORDESH AFRICA. He holds a Diploma in Computer Software Engineering as well as a Certificate in Android Development. He is a Senior Software Developer at aganow and also a Content creator. Favour have over 8 years experience in Coding. He is also a Backend Fintech Engineer with experience working with Core Banking services and SOAP Services with extensive knowledge of building USSD(Short codes), SDPs etc.
